If a tile from the main house falls and hits it, the material is usually tough enough to take the impact without cracking.

In almost every case, a new GRP roof requires a fresh deck of OSB3 moisture-resistant boards. This provides the perfect surface for the resin to bond to. If Levi finds that your current joists are in good condition, he will simply fix the new decking over them. If there is rot from a long-term leak, he will replace the damaged timber first to make sure the structural integrity of the roof is sound before the fibreglass is applied.
